The spacious apartments offered excellent views of the surroundings.
Upon arrival, we faced significant inconvenience due to the rain. The path to our block was dark and unclear, so we had to struggle through the rain with our luggage. To make things worse, our room cards didn't work when we reached our door.

The whole complex was well kept and private. Security was good. Gym was well equiped and maintained, used it most days.
People were reserving sunbeds with towels in the morning despite the signs on the walls and were aloud to by staff at Estrella!!! V.annoying! Tennis courts were used by coucnil also, got booted off a couple of times!

An lovely stay by the pool
We stayed in a spacious two-bedroom apartment with amazing views, made our mornings magical. The breakfast was extensive, offering fresh pastries and local delights that fueled our adventures each day.
We faced a few challenges with the shower pressure. The pool area was smaller than expected, leaving limited lounging options when busy.

Had a good breakfast, an immaculate room with a perfect view of the sea. The location was marvellous and lovely: supermarkets and a grocery shop were within walking distance. Good service, although a few employees were not particularly friendly.

the rooms were very large and very clean. there was a full tea/coffee service when we arrived with milk/sugar/coffee. the washing machine and dishwasher were brand new. there were books for all ages and interests in the condo. the kitchen was perfectly equipped, the beds were comfortable.
Getting between the room and the outside required a lot of doors and entering a four digit password into keypads. Also, towels for the pool needed to be rented. The bed in the master bedroom squeaked! g

Couple seeking comfort and space
We spent 7 nights in a One-Bedroom Apartment, massive,, with every convenience we needed. The indoor pool was a great escape from the sun,, and the cozy balcony was perfect for evening drinks watching the sunset.
It wasn't budget-friendly,, but the experience justified the cost.

The apartment was awesome... incredibly clean and spacious. Full kitchen appliances, including a microwave. Ours had a terrace, which was also lovely. The pools were amazing, loved the idea of having a family pool and an adult pool, and also the fact that people could see various signs in the pool area saying reserving sunbeds is not allowed. Finally someone does that!
To say something, I think it lack wi-fi internet. Maybe it's something they could thin about, as a distribution system is probably not that expensive and would add comfort to those away from their families for one/two weeks (especially since many apartments have been bought).

the staff was awesome and we had an ocean view, and it was an actual ocean view. The indoor pool was very nice and so was the sauna. This hotel does not have free shuttle going from the hotel to the city center, it is a mistake. It takes about 8-10 euro to take a taxi from the hotel to bus station, city center, etc.
If more than one person is taking a shower, there needs to be a min. 30 min gap because it takes awhile for the hot water to warm up.

Sunny days in Praia Da Luz ☀️
Massive thanks to the chommies who sorted out our broken door super quick! The indoor pool was a lekker escape from the heat, and those morning brekkies were a total surprise, so good!
The parking was a bit of a tight squeeze, had to park outside instead.

We stayed in a lovely 3 bedroomed apartment. It was immaculate, well equipped and spacious. The staff were very helpful.
Although there was Wi-Fi in the reception area, there was no reception for it in the apartment. We knew this before we arrived, but it would be ideal to be able to browse the internet within the apartment. Otherwise I have no complaints.

This is our fifth time at Estrela da Luz and as always it was a pleasant stay... but all good things never last...
We didn't have a dvd in our room like they said in the description that all rooms had DVDs, but reception was able to get us one after the second day. Also.. they now charge for a pool towel 2.50 Euros when before they didn'T. And The bar still doesn't know how to make decent coctails.
